Presources
Starting out in the classroom can be scary. There is so much to learn! But for those who feel their inexperience, Jonah offers encouragement: Don't underestimate the "presources" you bring to the classroom! Whatever your background and life experience, it can enrich your teaching and thus your students.

Upper Grades Math
Nathan offers reasons that high school math matters, and provides practical, sensible advice for teaching upper grade math. How should students be prepared for high school math? What areas should you emphasize? What tools are available to you as a teacher? How do you support struggling students?

Procedures
In this presentation Jaydon Shrock focuses on the importance of procedures in managing a multigrade classroom effectively. He emphasizes that procedures, rooted in biblical principles of order, help maintain discipline, minimize confusion, and create a secure learning environment. His key points include personal holiness, daily routines, classroom management, and specific procedures for devotionals, classes, recess, discipline, and grading. He encourages teachers to pray for wisdom, be consistent, and adapt procedures to their unique classroom needs.

Coping with Criticism
Teachers at church schools sometimes feel like they live in a fishbowl. Parents, school board, students—they are all watching and waiting to pounce. At least, in our worst moments, this is what it can feel like. Criticism is going to come our way. What are we going to do with it?

Cross-Cultural Classroom
Every classroom is a cross-cultural classroom. This is thanks to the culture you as the teacher bring to the classroom, combined with the cultural differences brought together by students of all backgrounds. Some of these background differences are obvious, but others are more subtle. We will look into how we can use these differences to create a wholesome classroom culture.

Experienced Teacher, Amateur Board
This workshop is for teachers who have actually outdistanced their managers, the board (or at least perceive this to be the case). If you are feeling smooshed or smothered, this discussion will offer some fresh air for maintaining mutual appreciation and respect throughout the team.
