Teacher Needed — $60,000 + Housing | Nottawa, MI

Nottawa Christian School in Sturgis, Michigan is seeking a teacher/principal for the 2027–2028 school year. NCS is a small conservative Anabaptist school operated in connection with the Amish-Mennonite Pilgrim Church. We serve families from the local congregation and area churches.

The opening is for Room 2 (upper grades, about grades 6–10), with roughly a dozen students. Curriculum is individualized ACE and CLE. The role includes classroom teaching and principal responsibilities for the school. 

We are looking for someone who loves the Lord, loves students, and is glad to work closely with parents, the school board, and the church. Experience with ACE/CLE is helpful but not required.

Benefits include:

• Contracted salary set by the board based on position, experience, and qualifications. Starting base salary is $60,000, with a $1,000 increase each year thereafter

• Housing is provided

• Teacher training and associations encouraged and provided

• Ten days PTO per year for the principal
