Fourth Quarter 2025 Progress Report
Updates
In December, we published a series of articles called Essentials of Teaching. This series provides a growing list of bullet-point summaries of content for Christian educators. Each guide can be downloaded, printed, or viewed as a webpage and includes links to the resources we used to compile the content.
In the fourth quarter, much of our team's effort went toward preparing our database for migration to Wix. This migration will bring cost savings, greater reliability, and a more unified system. Migration is scheduled to occur in the first quarter of 2026. We anticipate the move to go smoothly, but welcome your feedback on any issues you encounter.
Looking Ahead
In the first quarter of 2026, we will focus on improving the usability and aesthetics of The Dock. Therefore, we do not expect to add much content to our collection. As The Dock matures, we are realizing the need to shift from growth to quality. You will notice some shifts in the site and content as we implement this strategy, e.g. Essentials of Teaching. User feedback is important to us—please send us your thoughts!
School Leader Podcast: We plan to host two question and response episodes in which our host, Kyler Martin, will sit down with a veteran administrator or teacher to address questions submitted by our listeners. Questions for this episode can be submitted through this form.
The Dock plans to increase its effort to embed physical presence into our Conservative Anabaptist schools. We’ve partnered with Christian Light’s school representatives to distribute The Dock’s informational packets in the schools they visit. In the summer of 2026, we plan to offer event packets that can be shipped to various teacher training events across the country and around the globe.
